TechFlow, Dec 19 — According to Sisa Journal, Hyundai Group and Hyundai Motor Group headquarters came under bomb threats today, with the suspect demanding 13 Bitcoin via email.
On the morning of the 19th, police received a report about a threatening email stating, "If 13 Bitcoin are not provided, the Hyundai Group building in Jongno District, Seoul, will be detonated, followed by an explosion at the Hyundai Motor Group building." Police immediately dispatched special tactical units for inspection, but no suspicious explosive devices have been found so far.
Reports indicate that prior to this incident, multiple tech companies including Samsung Electronics, KT, Kakao, and Naver had received similar bomb threats. Authorities are currently investigating the identity of possible accomplices.
