TechFlow, December 17 — According to Eleanor Terrett's report, Christopher Waller, a Federal Reserve governor supportive of cryptocurrency, will be interviewed by Trump tomorrow for the position of Federal Reserve Chair. Trump has previously met with two rumored top candidates—Kevin Warsh and Kevin Hassett—and believes both would drive radical reforms at the Federal Reserve.
Waller is considered one of the key architects behind the Federal Reserve's plan to establish master accounts for cryptocurrency-native firms. In an interview this October, when asked whether he would accept the role of Fed Chair, Waller responded: "If the president thought I was the best person for the job, I'd take it."
