TechFlow, Dec 15 — According to Business Wire, cryptocurrency fund C1 Fund Inc. (NYSE: CFND) announced it has acquired shares in blockchain software company Consensys. Consensys is a major contributor to the Ethereum ecosystem and owns MetaMask, the world's most widely used self-custody Ethereum wallet.
This marks C1 Fund’s sixth publicly announced investment since its IPO on August 7, 2025, following prior investments in Kraken, Ripple, Figment, Chainalysis, and Alchemy.
C1 Fund Chief Investment Officer Elliot Han said Consensys sits at the heart of the Ethereum ecosystem, providing infrastructure support for developers and enabling global access to open finance through applications like MetaMask. This investment reflects the firm’s strong confidence in Consensys’ diversified product platform.
