TechFlow, December 15 — According to Zhitong Caijing, the National Data Bureau of China, the People's Government of Chongqing Municipality, and Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority jointly signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for Building the Digital Land-Sea Corridor," aiming to deepen cooperation between China and Singapore under the Strategic Connectivity Demonstration Initiative. The collaboration will empower the development of the Land-Sea Corridor through digital transformation, creating a future-oriented intelligent economic corridor. Under the memorandum, the three parties will focus on practical cooperation in the following areas: First, digital interconnectivity—under their respective digital regulatory frameworks, they will promote secure and orderly cross-border data flows through interoperability and cooperation in digital infrastructure, exploring the establishment of an efficient, convenient, and secure digital corridor. Second, digital technology and innovation—encouraging and supporting joint research and application collaborations between enterprises and research institutions in fields such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and big data, while sharing experiences and achievements in smart city development. Third, digital talent exchange and training—strengthening the cultivation of digital professionals through seminars, skill certifications, and talent exchange programs, providing solid human resource support for digital economic development.
