TechFlow, on December 15, according to Jiemian News, the onshore and offshore renminbi against the U.S. dollar reached a 14-month high. On December 15, the onshore RMB spot exchange rate against the U.S. dollar rose as high as 7.0500, the first time reaching the 7.05 level since October 9, 2024.
In the offshore market, the offshore RMB exchange rate against the U.S. dollar, which better reflects international investor sentiment, rose as high as 7.046 during the day on December 15, hitting its highest level since early October 2024.
