TechFlow News, December 14 — According to Hong Kong's Ming Pao, an attempted robbery occurred last night at a cryptocurrency exchange shop in Mong Kok. At around 8 PM yesterday, the 46-year-old male shop owner was closing up his cryptocurrency exchange store located in a building on Nathan Road No. 608 when three men attempted to rob him.
During the struggle with the suspects, the shop owner sustained a finger injury while fighting them off together with his wife. He was later taken to Kwong Wah Hospital in Hong Kong and remains conscious. Preliminary police investigation indicates no loss of property. The involved cryptocurrency exchange shop is situated on the first floor of W Plaza President Commercial Building, where both the premises and the mall corridors are equipped with surveillance cameras. Police are currently tracking down the whereabouts of the three suspects, and the case remains under investigation.
