TechFlow news, December 13 — According to Jinshi News, media reported on Friday that "due to labor and material shortages, Oracle (ORCL.N) will delay the construction of data centers related to OpenAI, pushing the timeline from 2027 to 2028." However, Oracle subsequently denied the report. Oracle spokesperson Michael Egbert stated in an email: "After signing the agreement, we have closely coordinated with OpenAI to determine site selections and delivery schedules, and have reached mutual agreement. There are no delays at any sites required to fulfill contractual commitments, and all milestones remain on track." He added, "We remain fully aligned with OpenAI and are confident in our ability to meet contractual commitments and future expansion plans." Following the response, Oracle's (ORCL.N) stock recovered some losses.
