TechFlow news, December 12 — According to Bloomberg, Capital A, the parent company of AirAsia founder Tony Fernandes, has signed a letter of intent with Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia to explore launching a ringgit stablecoin in Malaysia. Standard Chartered will act as the issuer, while Capital A will lead pilot projects for real-world wholesale applications. The project will be conducted within the Central Bank of Malaysia's Digital Assets Innovation Center under regulatory oversight.
