TechFlow, December 11 — According to Financefeeds, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has publicly criticized Elon Musk's reforms of the X platform, arguing that changes to its content moderation policies have turned it into a breeding ground for hate speech and extremist ideologies.
Vitalik stated that "the removal of traditional moderation policies and the prioritization of engagement metrics" systematically amplifies extremist and hateful content. He added that Musk's centralized control as a single authority exemplifies the inherent flaws of non-decentralized platforms, transforming the site into an ideological echo chamber and violating the principle of "credible neutrality" for public squares.
