TechFlow, December 11 — According to CoinDesk, the Kingdom of Bhutan has launched TER, a sovereign-supported, gold-backed token issued through Glei P Nangten Dzong and custodied by DK Bank.
TER tokens are built on the Solana blockchain, offering international investors a digital representation of physical gold with on-chain transparency and global transferability. The token aims to serve as a new bridge between traditional value storage and blockchain-based finance, enabling investors to access TER tokens directly through DK Bank, Bhutan's first licensed digital bank.
