TechFlow, Dec 9 — Microsoft (MSFT.O) announced it will invest $17.5 billion over the next four years to develop artificial intelligence and cloud computing infrastructure in India, marking its largest-ever investment in Asia. Microsoft CEO Nadella stated after meeting with Indian Prime Minister Modi that the investment aims to support India in building an "AI-first" future. India, with a population of 1.45 billion, is becoming a key battleground in the global AI race. Recently, several tech leaders, including Anthropic co-founder Dario Amodei, have visited the country.
