TechFlow news, December 8 — According to Cointelegraph, the latest national security strategy document released by the Trump administration does not mention cryptocurrency or blockchain technology, despite Trump's previous statements expressing a desire for the U.S. to become a cryptocurrency hub.
The strategy document lists artificial intelligence and quantum computing as "core vital national interests" of the United States, emphasizing the need to ensure U.S. global leadership in technologies and standards related to AI, biotechnology, and quantum computing. The only statement possibly related to cryptocurrency is maintaining and strengthening the "dominance of the U.S. financial sector," leveraging "leadership in digital finance and innovation" to ensure market liquidity and security.
