TechFlow news, on December 4, according to Decrypt, Thai authorities seized bitcoin mining equipment worth $8.6 million (300 million Thai baht), which is suspected to be linked to a transnational fraud gang operating in Myanmar.
On Tuesday, Thailand's Department of Special Investigation conducted raids on six locations in Samut Sakhon Province and one location in Uthai Thani Province, confiscating mining equipment valued at $7.7 million (a total of 3,642 units) and electrical equipment worth $860,000.
