TechFlow, Dec 4 — According to CriptoNoticias, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) is deepening its collaboration with educational institutions in Argentina. The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) established a Research Center for Cryptography and Distributed Systems in early November, a project closely linked to the Ethereum Foundation ecosystem.
Lambda Class, an Argentine software development company, donated $1 million to the center, with $250,000 already allocated to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral scholarships. The center aims to integrate interdisciplinary research on blockchain and distributed systems, covering fields such as mathematics, computer science, and fintech.
Additionally, Tomasz Stańczak, co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, confirmed that the foundation is advancing an educational initiative involving multiple universities in Argentina. Starting in 2026, students at Estación Buenos Aires school in Buenos Aires will receive blockchain technology certifications accredited by the Ethereum Foundation, with courses including Solidity, the smart contract development language.
