TechFlow, Dec 3 — According to PRNewswire, Swiss fintech company Mt Pelerin announced the launch of its personal cryptocurrency IBAN service. This service enables users to convert self-custody wallets into universal accounts, allowing seamless sending and receiving of funds between blockchain and traditional banking networks.
Users can create personal EUR or CHF IBANs linked to their crypto wallets, enabling them to receive bank transfers that are automatically converted into cryptocurrencies and deposited directly into their wallets, as well as send bank transfers to anyone using cryptocurrencies from their wallet. These payments appear identical to standard bank transfers, with cryptocurrency settlements processed seamlessly in the background. The service is available globally (excluding countries on the restricted list), offers free IBANs, free conversions between fiat and ZCHF stablecoin, while other cryptocurrency conversions are charged at standard rates. The service supports over 30 cryptocurrencies across 15 blockchains.
