TechFlow news, December 1 — According to CriptoNoticias, José Gregorio Rodríguez, president of Venezuela's Commercial Services Council (Consecomercio), said that over 30% of the country's businesses, service providers, and enterprises have begun using cryptocurrencies.
Rodríguez noted during the 46th National Commerce and Services Day celebration that the adoption of cryptocurrencies stems from the need to bypass financial intermediary barriers, as restrictions on import/export and supplier payments have pushed companies to seek alternative solutions. He stated that digital platforms have become "important pressure valves," simplifying processes that previously required complex triangular transactions. The organization issued a statement during the event calling for increased foreign exchange allocation to the private sector and greater use of digital payment methods such as USDT.
