TechFlow news, on November 28, according to China Newsweek, a special audit revealed that from August 2014 to July 2017, Blue Sky Grid collected over 40.2 billion yuan in funds, all of which were controlled and managed by Qian Zhimin. From April 2014 to August 2017, Blue Sky Grid repaid over 34.1 billion yuan to 128,409 people, while more than 1.14 billion yuan was used to purchase Bitcoin.
Documents obtained by the media from UK courts also show that Qian Zhimin purchased a total of 194,951 Bitcoins, exceeding the 61,000 seized by police. However, the court has not disclosed the status of the remaining over 120,000 Bitcoins. This implies that it is highly possible there are still undiscovered or unconfiscated Bitcoins within Qian Zhimin's assets. In an interview with British media, Joe Ryan, a detective with London's Metropolitan Police, revealed that Qian Zhimin claimed to have "lost the password" to a wallet containing 20,000 Bitcoins. Based on current market prices, these "lost" Bitcoins alone are worth approximately 12.5 billion yuan.
