TechFlow news, November 27 — According to Cointelegraph, Tom Lee, chairman of BitMine, appears to have softened his widely publicized forecast of Bitcoin reaching $250,000 by year-end. In an interview with CNBC on Wednesday, Lee stated that BTC is likely to surpass $100,000 this year, while offering only a "maybe" when asked whether it would reclaim its all-time high of $125,100 set in October.
This marks the first time Lee has publicly backtracked from his $250,000 year-end Bitcoin price target, a prediction initially made and repeatedly reaffirmed throughout early 2024. Lee's outlook has been among the more bullish views in the market.
Nonetheless, Lee still believes Bitcoin could see its strongest performance by the end of 2025. He noted that Bitcoin typically achieves most of its annual gains within just 10 trading days each year.
