TechFlow, Nov 26 — According to Cointelegraph, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov said in an interview with Michael van de Poppe, founder of MN Capital, that decentralized finance (DeFi) has currently completed about 30% of its mass adoption journey, with global adoption expected to reach 100% by 2030.
Nazarov noted that global adoption will reach 50% when regulatory frameworks become clearer and can account for DeFi's reliability; adoption will reach 70% when institutional users have clear and efficient pathways to deploy capital into DeFi; and 100% adoption will be achieved when DeFi's capital base becomes meaningfully comparable to traditional financial asset allocations.
