In the survey, 76% of respondents described the U.S. economic situation as "poor," up from 67% in July. Most respondents said the cost of living, including healthcare and housing, continues to rise. Only 15% believed the Trump administration's economic policies had a positive effect, while 46% said these policies worsened the economy.
