TechFlow news, November 13: The Ethereum Foundation's Account Abstraction team, together with Vitalik Buterin, officially released "The Trustless Manifesto" and deployed the manifesto to the on-chain address trustlessness.eth.
The manifesto outlines Ethereum's core values, emphasizing that Ethereum was not created to improve financial efficiency, but to enable people to coordinate without having to trust intermediaries. It establishes four core principles: credible neutrality, self-custody, verifiability, and resistance to "convenience-driven" centralization.
These ideas have been discussed by the team for years but were never formally documented. By deploying the manifesto on-chain, the team aims to ensure these values can withstand forks, hype, and liquidity withdrawals, serving as a lasting commitment.
