TechFlow, November 12 — According to the Empire podcast, Phantom wallet CEO Brandon Millman said the company has no intention of launching its own blockchain or pursuing an IPO. Its current focus remains on the Solana ecosystem and products targeting mainstream users. He stated that building a proprietary chain would contradict the crypto industry's principles of openness and composability, and Phantom will continue to deepen its commitment to Solana. Brandon also noted that while the company has potential for going public, it prefers to expand through private funding rounds backed by investors such as a16z, Paradigm, and Sequoia.
