Exploits (including contract attacks, social engineering fraud, private key leaks, etc.) caused the most severe damage, with 16 major incidents resulting in total losses of $40,423,427. Notable cases include suspicious outflows of approximately $21 million from addresses related to SBI Crypto, suspected to be a North Korean hacker attack; Typus Finance on Sui lost about $3.4 million due to a smart contract logic vulnerability; Astra Nova's market maker account was breached, losing about $10.3 million; Garden Finance was hacked and lost about $10.8 million.
Regarding phishing attacks, total losses in October amounted to about $3.5 million, affecting approximately 11,000 victims. Attackers leveraged "phishing-as-a-service" and AI technologies to reduce production costs and carry out widespread attacks.
In addition, in October, 2,189 new貔貅tokens were detected on ETH, Base, and BSC, an increase of over 600% compared to September, with 1,780 newly added on BSC.
