According to Balancer, out of caution, Balancer Labs submitted a Balancer Improvement Proposal (BIP) following last week's attack, recommending deprecation of the v2 stable pools and encouraging liquidity providers to migrate their liquidity to the v3 version. Balancer v3 remains fully operational and unaffected. The project stated this is a precautionary measure and expressed gratitude for the continued trust and support from partners and the community.
TechFlow news, November 11 — Balancer has disclosed that, as a precautionary measure following last week's attack incident, Balancer Labs has proposed a Balancer Improvement Proposal (BIP) recommending the deprecation of v2 stable pools and encouraging liquidity providers to migrate their liquidity to the v3 version.
It is reported that Balancer v3 remains fully operational and unaffected. The project stated this is a preventive action and expressed gratitude for the ongoing trust and support from partners and the community.
