TechFlow news, November 9: Trump said, "Now let's clarify the logic—The President of the United States is authorized (and fully approved by Congress) to suspend all trade with foreign nations (which is far more severe than tariffs!) and can impose licensing controls on foreign countries, yet does not have the authority to impose simple tariffs on foreign nations based on national security grounds? This was certainly not the intention of our great Founding Fathers! The entire situation is utterly absurd! Other countries can impose tariffs on us, but we cannot retaliate? That would be their dream! Companies are flooding into the United States purely because of tariff policies. Has no one informed the U.S. Supreme Court of these facts?"
