TechFlow news, November 7 — According to Jinshi Data, due to the U.S. government shutdown, the October non-farm payrolls data originally scheduled for release tonight at 21:30 is expected not to be published on time. This will mark the second consecutive month that the non-farm report has been "absent," following the September report which also failed to be released as scheduled. The U.S. Labor Secretary recently reiterated that the non-farm report will only be issued once the government resumes operations, and no economic data will be released until then. On Friday, the U.S. Senate plans to vote on a new temporary funding bill aimed at ending the government shutdown. The Senate has previously failed to pass such bills 14 times, setting a record for the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.
