TechFlow news, November 5 — According to an official blog post, Tether announced it has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Vietnam, aiming to advance the development of the city's digital infrastructure and innovative governance models.
Under the memorandum, both parties will jointly study and develop mechanisms to support the responsible integration of blockchain, digital assets, and peer-to-peer technologies. This initiative will leverage international best practices to promote transparent, efficient, and resilient digital governance solutions.
Tether will support Da Nang in formulating policies related to blockchain technology, digital assets, sandbox experimentation, and real-world asset tokenization, and will share global experience to help the city establish a comprehensive framework aligned with international standards. The two sides will also collaborate with Vietnamese universities and research institutions to develop educational programs in blockchain, peer-to-peer technologies, and artificial intelligence, and design professional training programs to strengthen regional capabilities in building and managing blockchain payment systems.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said Da Nang is becoming the future of digital governance in Southeast Asia. Da Nang People's Committee Executive Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh said this collaboration represents a concrete step in the city's strategic development.
