TechFlow, Nov. 5 — According to Financefeeds, cryptocurrency market maker DWF Labs is suspected to have suffered a $44 million cyberattack linked to the North Korean hacking group Lazarus.
Investigators revealed that the attack dates back to 2022 and involved the use of AppleJeus malware, a common cyber weapon used by North Korean hacking groups. The attackers conducted phishing operations via disguised trading software to gain remote access to DWF's internal wallets and systems, then transferred funds through intermediary wallets and privacy mixers.
