TechFlow news, November 4 — According to Cointelegraph, global index provider FTSE Russell announced a collaboration with Chainlink to publish its benchmark equity and digital asset indices onto blockchains. Through Chainlink's DataLink service, index data including the Russell 1000, Russell 2000, Russell 3000, and FTSE 100—tracking over $18 trillion in globally managed assets—will become available across multiple blockchains.
FTSE Russell CEO Fiona Bassett said this move marks a significant step in the company's strategy to drive innovation in "tokenized assets" and ETFs. Previously, FTSE Russell has launched several cryptocurrency market indices through partnerships with SonarX and Grayscale, providing institutional investors with standardized benchmarks.
