TechFlow news, October 31 — According to a press release from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR has appointed the Chairperson and panel members of the Stablecoin Review Tribunal under the Stablecoins Ordinance (Chapter 656). Senior Counsel Ronald Woon will serve as Chairperson. Panel members include Professor Wong Ho-fung, Yau Wan-kwan, Lap Chi-hung, Mak Yip-shing, Ng Kin-lam, and Siu Tsz-chim. The Tribunal was established under the Stablecoins Ordinance to review specified decisions made by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority under the Ordinance upon receiving appeals, helping to ensure that regulatory decisions are reasonable and fair.
