TechFlow news, on October 30, according to Hong Kong media Oriental Daily, on October 27, a light truck in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province was loaded with a large amount of 100-yuan RMB cash, estimated to be worth over 100 million RMB.
Online footage shows the cargo in the truck bed wrapped in plastic film and tied with ropes, with words such as "private savings" and phone numbers printed on the vehicle body. When reporters called the number displayed on the truck, a man initially insisted the cash was genuine, claiming he was engaged in cryptocurrency exchange business and that the vehicle was parked outside his shop. He said police had contacted him but did not consider his actions illegal. However, once informed that the caller was a journalist, the man immediately changed his story, stating the cash was merely props.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Maixing Road and Mingzhu Road in Huicheng District, Huizhou City. Nearby shop owners said they had not noticed the vehicle. Local police stated they could not disclose specific details but confirmed they would pay attention to the matter during patrols.
