TechFlow, Oct 30 — According to Jinshi Data, CME's "Fed Watch" data shows today that the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut by the Federal Reserve in December is 67.8%, while the probability of holding rates steady is 32.2%. The probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut by January next year stands at 56%, with a 21.5% chance of unchanged rates and a 22.5% probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut.
Earlier, Powell stated early this morning that a December rate cut is not a certainty.
