TechFlow news, October 29 — According to Bubblemaps, Sybil attack activity was detected during the MEGA token presale on MegaETH. It is reported that MegaETH's presale rules clearly stipulate a limit of one wallet per user, a maximum bid amount of $186,000, and identity verification must be completed via the Echo platform.
Bubblemaps discovered approximately 20 entities using multiple associated wallets to exceed the $186,000 limit. One typical case showed wallet address 0x9f5c receiving funds from Kraken one day prior, then distributing the funds across three new wallets, using four addresses in total for $600,000—three times the permitted allocation.
