TechFlow news, on October 28, according to CCTV News, Beijing police recently discovered a suspicious transaction during routine work. The transaction involved an image of a counterfeit currency master template. Police suspected the buyer was likely printing counterfeit money. Following this lead, authorities cracked down on the network, arresting 15 suspects and dismantling eight counterfeit currency production sites, seizing over 2.5 million yuan in fake banknotes. All suspects in the case were born after 2000, including minors. They first learned counterfeiting techniques through overseas software, then used printers to produce counterfeit money, and sold it using virtual currency settlements. Some suspects not only produced counterfeit currency themselves but also taught others these techniques for profit.
