TechFlow, on October 24, according to Ripple's official disclosure, the company has completed its acquisition of non-bank prime broker Hidden Road and rebranded it as Ripple Prime.
Since the acquisition was announced, Ripple Prime's business has tripled in size. The platform offers institutions services including clearing, prime brokerage, and financing across foreign exchange, digital assets, derivatives, swaps, and fixed income products. Ripple Prime will significantly enhance the utility and reach of the company's stablecoin RLUSD. Currently, RLUSD is already being used as collateral for multiple prime brokerage products, and some derivatives clients have chosen to hold balances in RLUSD.
