TechFlow news, October 24 — According to Cointelegraph, Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), together with the Cybercrime Investigation Bureau (CCIB), raided iris-scanning sites linked to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's digital identity project World (formerly known as Worldcoin).
Regulators found that the WLD token exchange service provider was allegedly operating without a license, violating local digital asset laws. Suspects have been arrested, and the case will proceed to further law enforcement procedures.
