TechFlow news, October 23 — According to Jinshi Data, Dwyfor Evans, Head of Asia Pacific Macro Strategy at State Street Global Markets, pointed out that investor confidence in high-risk assets may have become excessive. Speaking at the Asian Securities Industry & Financial Market Association's asset management conference in Singapore, he noted that investors are currently buying U.S. equities while hedging dollar exposure and selling U.S. Treasuries. Evans expects U.S. inflation to gradually rebound as both imported and domestic goods prices rise, stating that "3% has become the new 2%." He warned that current market risk positioning might be overly optimistic.
