TechFlow news, October 23: According to Decrypt, a class-action lawsuit alleges that Meteora founder Benjamin Chow was the mastermind behind a cryptocurrency scam, illegally using images of former U.S. First Lady Melania Trump and Argentine President Javier Milei to promote what it calls "scam tokens." The MELANIA and LIBRA tokens in question surged rapidly upon launch before crashing. Legal documents cite Telegram screenshots showing Chow collaborating with Hayden Davis and Kelsier Ventures to manipulate at least 15 tokens through "pump-and-dump" schemes. Despite skepticism from the court regarding the lawsuit's prospects, $57.6 million worth of USDC funds linked to the LIBRA token have been unfrozen.
