TechFlow news, October 22 — According to cryptocurrency analyst Emmett Gallic, the U.S. government announced it has seized 215 BTC, worth approximately $23 million, from a wallet belonging to Zhengcheng Huang, operator of the darknet marketplace "Chinodrug."
According to the seizure documents, authorities claimed to have recovered only 199.47 BTC, while the associated address actually held 215 BTC. Emmett Gallic noted that, based on past experience, the U.S. government rarely reports accurate amounts in its seizure filings.
