TechFlow news, October 17 — According to on-chain analyst EmberCN (@EmberCN), two whale/institutional addresses transferred 17.857 million ASTER tokens worth approximately $22.88 million to exchanges today.
One of these addresses, which previously accumulated 64.535 million ASTER via Gate, continued transferring 9.575 million ASTER (worth ~$12.53 million) to Binance today. Within the past week, this address has deposited a total of 58.608 million ASTER (worth $92.25 million) into Binance and now holds only 5.926 million ASTER remaining (worth $7.42 million).
Another whale/institutional address that participated in the WLFI public sale withdrew 8.282 million ASTER (worth $16.86 million at $2.03 per token) from Bybit three weeks ago, and transferred all of these tokens back to Bybit eight hours ago. Due to the drop in ASTER price to $1.25, this position incurred a loss of approximately $6.52 million.
