TechFlow news, October 15: The Ethereum Foundation officially issued a reminder update, noting that over the past few days some L2 deployments on Sepolia have not been functioning properly due to EIP-7549 changing the proof format. In preparation for the Fusaka upgrade, all blob proposers are urged to update their software to create Cell Proofs instead of Blob Proofs.
The Ethereum Foundation added that L2s and other entities highly dependent on the Ethereum roadmap are encouraged to follow the ACD process and engage more directly with the community. Teams are also encouraged to deploy contracts and test infrastructure on devnets before migrating to the first testnet. Another good way to stay up to date is to use the Ethereum package provided by Kurtosis, which can be used to create local networks compliant with the latest specifications.
