TechFlow news, October 14 — According to Fortune, Mo Shaikh, co-founder of the Aptos blockchain, has launched a cryptocurrency venture capital fund called Maximum Frequency Ventures together with three former Aptos Labs employees. The fund has successfully raised $50 million. It will focus on cryptocurrency startups and has already invested $5 million across six early-stage companies.
Unlike traditional venture capital firms, Maximum Frequency Ventures emphasizes an "actively involved" model, participating directly in startup operations and incubation beyond just investing. Leveraging their experience at Aptos, the four founders plan to prioritize entrepreneurs from diverse geographic regions, particularly projects originating from Asia.
