TechFlow, October 13 — According to The Miner Mag, Canaan has launched a 2.5-megawatt pilot Bitcoin mining project in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, using stranded natural gas for power generation. In collaboration with local company Aurora AZ Energy Ltd, the project will deploy 700 Avalon A15 Pro miners worth over $2 million, conducting mining operations directly at natural gas wellheads.
