TechFlow news, October 13: Robert Kiyosaki, author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad," posted support for Trump's policy to allow 401k retirement funds to invest in alternative assets.
Kiyosaki pointed out that Trump's plan permits 401k investments in "alternative investments," including real estate debt, physical gold and silver, and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. He believes this policy will enable more people to become wealthy and achieve financial security, while extending the retirement timeline for baby boomers.
Kiyosaki stated that traditional stock and bond markets are controlled by wealthy investment bankers who harm working-class interests through workers' 401k plans. He noted even Buffett has acknowledged that baby boomers are suffering, and inflation will erode the purchasing power of their 401k savings.
As an alternative investor, Kiyosaki said he has never held a 401k, mutual funds, or ETFs, but instead invests from the perspective of a business owner and investor in the cashflow quadrant. He stated he will continue buying gold, silver, Bitcoin, Ethereum, oil, and real estate.
