TechFlow news, October 10: CZ has posted a clarification regarding recent rumors about his relationship with Jeff, founder of Hyperliquid.
CZ stated that Jeff was part of the first incubation cohort of Binance Labs (now known as YZiLabs) in 2018, but the project ultimately failed, and Binance Labs did not recover any investment. CZ mentioned he had little interaction with Jeff at the time and only learned about the connection earlier this year from Ella.
CZ further clarified that, to his knowledge, YZiLabs did not obtain or hold any investment (equity or tokens) in Hyperliquid. CZ had previously planned to speak with Jeff, but missed the call due to a scheduling error and has not rescheduled since. CZ concluded by expressing support for all builders regardless.
