TechFlow news, October 10 — The Fintech Forward 2025 conference, hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, successfully concluded at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre, according to PRNewswire. A total of 38 memoranda of understanding and strategic agreements were signed during the event, covering fintech, digital infrastructure, and financial services.
The conference attracted around 2,000 attendees, including international participants from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the UK, the US, and India. Key agreements included a payment infrastructure pilot project with Google Cloud, jointly advanced by Bahrain FinTech Bay and Bank NBB, enabling instant payments via Google Cloud's Universal Ledger.
Speakers at the event included Binance founder CZ and Shazam co-founder Dhiraj Mukherjee, with discussions spanning artificial intelligence applications, open banking, Islamic fintech, and digital payments.
