TechFlow news, October 9 — According to an official blog post, the Ocean Protocol Foundation announced on October 9, 2025, its immediate withdrawal from the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI Alliance), along with the removal of its designated director. Although 81% of $OCEAN tokens have already been converted to $FET, 37,334 holders (approximately 270 million $OCEAN) have yet to complete the conversion.
Ocean Protocol stated that future development funding is fully secured, and a portion of the technical spin-off profits will be used to repurchase and burn $OCEAN tokens. The token bridge remains open, allowing holders to convert at a rate of 0.433226 $FET/$OCEAN.
In addition, delisted $OCEAN tokens are now eligible for re-evaluation for relisting and can still be traded via platforms such as Coinbase, Kraken, UpBit, Binance US, Uniswap, and SushiSwap.
