TechFlow news, October 9 — According to The Block, decentralized social media protocol Farcaster announced on Wednesday that it will support the BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain).
Farcaster co-founder Dan Romero said the project's near-term goal is "to support every major asset and blockchain, enable instant cross-chain swaps without bridges, and minimize transaction fees as much as possible." Earlier this year, Farcaster began expanding beyond the Ethereum ecosystem by integrating Solana and HyperEVM. Currently, the protocol is live across multiple Layer 2 networks and sidechains, including Arbitrum, Base, Gnosis, OP Mainnet, Polygon, Unichain, and Zora.
