TechFlow, Oct. 6 — According to Cointelegraph, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $3.24 billion in net inflows last week, nearly matching the historical weekly record set in November 2024. Meanwhile, corporate treasury buyers purchased over 6,702 bitcoins worth approximately $1.2 billion last week, with Japan-based Metaplanet acquiring 5,258 BTC on October 1.
Reportedly, institutional demand has already surpassed miners' supply capacity. Miners produce around 450 bitcoins per day on average, while corporations and ETFs are purchasing approximately 1,755 and 1,430 bitcoins per day respectively.
