TechFlow news, October 2 — According to The Block, the monthly trading volume of perpetual contract decentralized exchanges (Perp DEXs) surpassed $1 trillion for the first time in September, reaching $1.05 trillion, up 48% from $707.6 billion in August.
Aster, built on BNB Chain, took the top spot with over $420 billion in monthly trading volume. Hyperliquid ranked second with $282.5 billion, down 29% month-on-month. Lighter, operating on Ethereum Layer2 during its private test phase, attracted $164.4 billion in trading volume, securing third place.
